The Order Sons of Italy of Canada is an organization of men and women serving the needs of the community in general. Its endeavors currently include public housing, retirement and nursing homes, charitable fund raising and giving, and support of the arts and the promotion of Italian culture.

Alvito Social Club
The Alvito Social Clubwas founded in 1977 by Aldo Macioce. For over 25 years it has gathered Italians across Toronto together for many social events. It was named after the small town in Frosinone, Italy; the town where the first president Aldo was born. His vision of the Alvito Social Club was to bring together the people of the town who immigrated to Canada. This vision has evolved to bringing together Italians across Ontario. Now almost 300 members are affiliated with the club and it is vastly growing. The Alvito Social Club holds an annual picnic every year traditionally, and looks for new ideas which can improve the club.

If you would like to be informed about events organized by Italian clubs in your area, we would suggest to contact the organizations directly. Unfortunately we are only able to list clubs and schools and only occasionaly we post event announcements.
Hopefully the clubs listed on this page and on the club’s page of this website (there is a section for Clubs in Canada) will be close enough to your home, and maybe other people from your area will see your post and will send you suggestions.
